Izhak Perlman (b. Aug. 31, 1945, Tel Aviv, British Palestine) is a violisit, conductor, music teacher. He studied at the Julliard School under Ivan Galamian and Dorothy DeLay. In 1958 and 1964 he perfomred on the Ed Sullivan Show and made his Carnegie Hall debut in 1963. He currently teaches at the Julliard School and is the founder Perlman Music Program.
